The Tangier Mærsk was delivered from Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group’s yard in Jingjiang, China, three months ahead of schedule as part of an order placed in 2023.
The vessel will on its maiden voyage call Shanghai and enter deployment on Maersk’s TP15 service, which connects East Asia with the U.S. Gulf Coast via the Panama Canal.
“We are pleased to take delivery of Tangier Mærsk, marking the first of six vessels in this new series. Together with the remaining vessels in the series, it will contribute to our ongoing fleet renewal and support our long‑term competitiveness,” said Anda
