ONE reportedly orders six LNG-fuelled containerships
Ocean Network Express (ONE) has reportedly placed an order with HD Hyundai Heavy Industries for six LNG-fuelled containerships with a capacity of 15,000 TEU each.
According to multiple reports, the vessels are expected to be priced at approximately USD 203 million per ship.
The order reflects continued investment in dual-fuel and lower-emission vessel technologies as carriers accelerate fleet renewal and decarbonisation strategies.
The newbuildings are expected to strengthen ONE’s long-haul fleet capacity while improving fuel efficiency and environmental performance.
