ONE announces update to East Coast South America service SX2

Ocean Network Express has announced the commencement details and terminal information for its enhanced East Coast South America (SX2) service, following a previous update issued in February.

The revised SX2 service will connect major ports across Asia and South America, strengthening trade links and improving schedule reliability for customers operating in these regions.

The updated rotation for the SX2 service is as follows: Pusan, Shanghai, Shekou, Singapore, Rio de Janeiro, Santos, Itapoa, Singapore, Cai Mep and Haiphong.

The service will be launched with the deployment of the vessel M/V Seattle Bridge 0103W, which is scheduled to arrive in Pusan on April 20, 2026.

In addition, the company confirmed that cargo flows to and from Argentina will continue to be supported through the River Plate Express (RPX) service, which maintains connectivity via the Port of Rio de Janeiro.

The RPX service rotation includes Rio de Janeiro, Zarate, Buenos Aires, La Plata and a return to Rio de Janeiro. The service will operate with the vessel M/V Ithaca 119W, with an estimated arrival in Rio de Janeiro on May 30, 2026.

With these updates, Ocean Network Express aims to enhance network efficiency and provide more reliable and comprehensive coverage across key trade corridors linking Asia and the East Coast of South America.
