CMA CGM announces Peak Season Surcharges (PSS) for key trade lanes

CMA CGM Group has announced new Peak Season Surcharges (PSS) for selected trade lanes to ensure reliable and efficient service during periods of high demand.

From All Origins to Kribi, Cameroon
Starting 9 April 2026, CMA CGM will apply a PSS of USD 250 / EUR 200 / GBP 175 per container on all cargo shipped from any origin to Kribi, Cameroon. This surcharge aims to maintain service reliability amid seasonal cargo surges.

From Türkiye to Mexico
Effective 1 April 2026 until further notice, a PSS of USD 250 per TEU will apply for all cargo (excluding OOG and Breakbulk) shipped from or via Türkiye to Veracruz, Altamira, and all inland destinations reached via these ports.

From Türkiye to Canada
Also starting 1 April 2026 until further notice, CMA CGM will impose a PSS of USD 250 per TEU for all cargo (excluding OOG and Breakbulk) shipped from or via Türkiye to Montreal, Halifax, and all inland destinations reached via these ports.

These surcharges reflect CMA CGM’s commitment to maintaining dependable and efficient operations on high-demand routes while managing peak-season pressures.
