ONE expands stake in Poseidon Corp. to 48.9%
Ocean Network Express (ONE) has signed agreements to acquire an additional stake in Poseidon Corp., the parent company of Seaspan Corporation, the world’s largest non-operating owner of containerships.
Once the transaction closes, ONE’s total ownership in Poseidon will increase to 48.9%. The company first invested in Poseidon in 2023 as part of its long-term fleet strategy.
The move supports ONE’s 2030 strategic growth plan and strengthens its partnership with Seaspan, a key global provider of containership tonnage.
Completion of the deal remains subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
