Go Shipping celebrates its 20th anniversary, marking two decades of growth, regional expansion, and trusted partnerships in the transport and logistics sector.

Founded in January 2006 in Piraeus, Go Shipping began as a freight forwarding company serving the shipping and logistics community in Greece. Over the past twenty years, the company has steadily expanded its activities and presence, evolving into a regional logistics partner providing integrated sea, air, and road transport solutions.

Today, Go Shipping operates nine offices across five countries, including Greece, Albania, Kosovo, Bulgaria, and Cyprus, supporting businesses engaged in international trade throughout Southeast Europe.

The company’s expansion began in 2013 with the establishment of Go Shipping Albania in Tirana, followed by Go Shipping Kosovo in 2014 and Go Shipping Bulgaria in Sofia in 2016, strengthening its presence across the Balkans. In 2020, the company further expanded into the Eastern Mediterranean with the creation of Go Shipping Cyprus near the Port of Limassol.

Another important milestone came in 2022, when the company established its owned office at Athens International Airport and became an IATA Accredited Cargo Agent, reinforcing its air freight capabilities and multimodal transport services.

“Over the past twenty years, Go Shipping has grown from a local freight forwarder into a regional logistics network supporting international trade,” said Kostas Lagos, Managing Director of Go Shipping. “This journey has been made possible by the dedication of our people and the trust our partners and customers have placed in us.

While the company built its reputation as a strong sea freight specialist, it has expanded its services to become a 360° transport and logistics solutions provider, offering integrated sea, air, and road freight services designed to support end-to-end supply chain needs.

“Transport and logistics today require flexibility, reliability, and integrated solutions,” Mr. Lagos added. “Our goal is to continue evolving alongside our customers and providing the services they need to grow in an increasingly complex global trade environment.”

To mark its 20-year anniversary, Go Shipping will organize a series of initiatives throughout 2026, highlighting both the company’s history and its future development in the logistics sector.
