Hapag-Lloyd suspends bookings to and from Upper Gulf
Hapag-Lloyd has implemented a booking stop for cargo moving to and from several Upper Gulf countries due to ongoing operational and security constraints in the region.
The suspension applies to all cargo types linked to the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman (Sohar), Saudi Arabia (Dammam and Jubail) and Yemen, and takes effect immediately until further notice.
The carrier said the measure aims to safeguard cargo, ensure secure equipment positioning and maintain operational standards while the situation continues to be monitored closely.
