Athens-based Adenac Ship Management bought a 2004-built LPG carrier fixed on a five-year employment.

“This transaction reflects our continued confidence in the LPG segment and reinforces our forward-looking approach to fleet expansion with quality tonnage,” the company wrote in a social media post.

Furthermore, the shipping company has chartered out its 1999-built Gas Zuma for a 3-year period, while also divesting interests in older vessels.

“These steps are part of our ongoing strategy to rebalance our portfolio and reallocate capital toward more modern, efficient LPG assets,” the statement of Adenac reads.

Based in Greece and operating as the commercial pillar of Vitamodo Scheepsbeheer BV (Netherlands), Adenac was established to focus on high-specification vessel ownership and strategic market positioning.

Except the gas carriers which Adenac has in its fleet portfolio, the company also operates in the container vessel segment, with a single ship.
